Genate Commercially available

Her prenatal plan should be as unique as her biology.

The Genate Test is a precision nutrition genetic test that determines whether a woman can optimally support the one-carbon and fatty-acid nutritional needs associated with fertility and pregnancy.

The five pathways

Genate evaluates five interdependent metabolic pathways, and reports where an individual's genetics constrain each one.

1-Carbon & Associated Pathways What depletion affects
Methyl donation — folate, vitamin B12, betaine Methyl donor availability, methylation balance, DNA synthesis and epigenetic programming
PEMT and phosphatidylcholine synthesis Membrane formation, lipid signaling, cellular growth dynamics
Dietary choline through the Kennedy pathway Phosphatidylcholine availability for membranes and lipoprotein transport; betaine availability for methylation efficiency
DHA and lipid transport Membrane fluidity, neuronal and placental membrane composition
Methionine and SAM–SAH balance Methylation cycle efficiency, accumulation of methylation inhibitors

Each pathway carries most weight during a specific reproductive window — oocyte maturation, implantation, placentation, fetal growth. Assessment before conception gives a practice the longest period in which to act on the result.

The algorithm

Built on primary datasets

The Genate SNPhub™ algorithm prioritizes 35 gene variants within a 317-gene panel, selected for their functional impact on nutrient depletion. SNP Therapeutics develops the model using machine learning applied to primary research datasets, rather than inferring requirement from reported diet.

Output is one personalized report: a Genetic Profile Score for overall one-carbon nutrient efficiency, and individualized nutritional guidance across choline, omega-3 DHA, folate, vitamin B12 and betaine.

The Genate Test kit

Three ways to get the kit to your patient

A buccal swab, under two minutes, no blood draw. Practices keep kits on hand and choose the path that fits the visit — collect the sample in the office and mail it, send the kit home for the patient to self-collect, or have us ship directly to her after a telehealth consult.

Genetic counselors are available for all physician-referred test reports.

How it works

  1. Order.

The practice or patient orders a Genate Test.

  2. Cheek swab.

She registers her kit and completes her nutrition profile.

  3. Laboratory.

Our laboratory is CLIA-CAP certified and sequences the genetic samples for each patient.

  4. Analysis.

The SNPhub™ platform processes the genetic data with the company’s proprietary algorithms while maintaining HIPAA compliance for PII and PHI throughout.

  5. Report and plan.

She receives her genetic profile and individualized nutritional guidance.

For practices

Register your practice through the secure HCP portal to review patient reports, obtain genetic sample kits and integrate Genate into your fertility workflow.
